Android: Create a station is grayed out

I keep trying to add Maya Isac to a station and it keeps saying ' we're experiencing unexpected technical difficulties'  I can't add any artist.

Well, it seems pandora just doesn't like that artist because I cannot add her as a starting station either. Maya Isac is the artist in question.

I've also seen this "We're having unexpected technical difficulties" message when trying to start a station or add a song for any songs by Dryer. Specifically though, I wanted to either create a station for "Seen Enough" or add their song to another station, tried both, and tried both options for any of their songs and that always pops up. None of their songs or even the artist itself have their options grayed out, it allows you to search and attempt to make a station or add them, but it never works, have been trying to do so for month's now..

I'm encountering the same issue. It's really frustrating to keep getting the error message "sorry we are having unexpected technical difficulties" whenever I try to make a station from Ghost and Pals, their songs, or other similar Vocaloid songs. If you want to download capcut pro apk then visit the given link. If anyone has found a solution or workaround for this problem, please share. Thanks!

Welcome to community and to Pandora! Looks like you're account was just created.

I checked out Ghost & Pals, and didn't have any trouble creating a station from this artist. I did notice that there are two artist profile available for this artist. I've asked our curation team to review.

In the meantime, try creating a station from this profile: Ghost & Pals

For Vocaloid, I see different artist profiles for the name, which may be contributing to the issue. I'll have our curation team review the different artist profiles.

Can you confirm the artist you were viewing:

  • Vocaloid
  • VOCALO.ID
  • VOCALOID

If the option is grayed out when you attempt to create a station based on a song or artist, we're happy to report these to our curation team on your behalf. To ensure accurate reporting, it's helpful to know the following details:

  • Artist or Song Name : 
  • Link to Pandora Profile / Song
    • If you're sharing an artist, the share icon can be found in the upper right hand corner of the backstage page. To locate a profile link, search for the artist/song and click on the arrow to Share ↗️ and then select Copy link
    • The easiest way share a song is to do a search (even if it's already a part of your collection). Tap the name of the song/station/album/artist/podcast and tap Share and select Copy link.

Addendum trying to add the band illumishade  experienced we are experiencing unexpected technical issues when adding I'm not sure if this is a secondary bug I'll see if it happens to other channels

Looks like the option to create station for ILLUMISHADE is grayed out. I can confirm that this is related to our collection, not the add variety leading to a blank page bug. Thank you for reporting!

I can't add variety now. When I do so it no longer leads to a blank screen. It let's me select the artist then regardless of what I Artist I select it gives me a screen that says this function does not work due to technical difficulties. 

Pandora version 2405.1

Galaxy S23 ultra 

 

On a weird not variety added through the website does not show up in the app. Attempted fixes include wiping cache and data to no avail.

In the meantime, they blank screen when adding variety on Android devices has been fixed. This is a different issue likely related to the specific content you're attempting to add to your stations as variety.

I have a similar issue.  I try both artist or song by the artist...

Artist:  Keith Cross and Peter Ross

Song:  The Last Ocean Rider

I cannot start a station from this artist or ANY of their songs from any (LG TV, Motorola g 5G, desktop computer) my devices

This problem appears marked as resolved, yet lacks a clear solution. I'm encountering the same issue with Samurai Pizza Cats, and despite scouring numerous forums, I find that the only response to all these supposedly "resolved" issues is that "the problem has been escalated to the curation team." Is there a definitive fix available, or are we expected to indefinitely wait while continuing to pay for a service that only offers the vague assurance of ongoing work?
