Android: Playback stops when phone is locked

I'm having the same problem but I don't see the solution on my profile options. Are you talking about "Enable Auto Start"? That's turned on. I've had Pandora Plus for years and this problem started a few months ago. When the phone is locked it will play one song and stop. This happens whether on wifi or data. If the phone is open it will keep playing. My Android version is 12 and I've gone through ever troubleshooting step including background battery etc. I've updated the app. Cleared the data. I'm at a loss at this point.

When this issue occurs: 

• Is the app still open in the background where you're able to press play and resume music or do you need to close and relaunch the app to continue listening?
• Is there an error message? If so, what does it say? (Ex: Buffering)
• Are you listening to a station, album, playlist, or podcast? 
• Are you using a Bluetooth connection?

Additionally, please provide your device model, One UI (if on Samsung), and Pandora app versions:
