Android: Songs Show but Won't Play

Pandora is not paying. The songs show bust they won't play. Any one else having this problem?

Would you mind trying out these steps to see if it helps with your issue?

From your Android Settings, please try clearing the Pandora app data using the following steps (not to worry, we'll keep track of your profile and collection for you):
  1. Open your device Settings
  2. Tap Apps
  3. Scroll down to find Pandora
  4. Select Storage
  5. On the storage details page tap Clear Data.

Keep in mind that the steps for each Android device is slightly different. If you have a Pixel, you can find helpful steps here.

Please note that you will be asked to log into your account after completing these steps.

For king and country - Burn the ships it's come up a couple different times and this is the only song that shows it's playing along the bottom but nothing is heard. Instead of skipping it this time I listened through and a minute or so in it sounds like a static radio station playing. I just wonder if the song was corrupted when it was uploaded to the Pandora platform. Just fyi.

This happens every time I upgrade. Why pay when it won't work? Was working before I updated my CC info. Always frustrated with the website. This should never happen.

Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device?

  1. If you are on a computer, are you listening from:
    • A Mac or Windows computer?
    • Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using?
  2. If you are on a device, what is the make and model (and carrier, if applicable)?
  3. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?
  4. Can you provide me with a screenshot/screen-recording of what you're seeing?

If you haven't already, please try out these steps while the trace is enabled: Android Troubleshooting
