App resets after hitting pause

I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e.  Every time I pause, the app closes and resets, not returning to the song I was listening to moments before.  This has been happening for a few weeks now and occurs both when connected to WiFi and not.

To clarify, when you say the app resets, does it completely close and send you back to the home screen?

• Pandora version:
  • If you can open Pandora, go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number.
  • If you can't open Pandora: from Android Home screen > Android Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Find Pandora

Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?

Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?
