We’ve refreshed the Pandora Community site to make it easier to connect, browse, and discover. ✨ Check out what's new here.
I have a subscription so that I can have some music downloaded as I drive through a Canyon 2 times a day to and from work and have music. Besides toggling airplane mode which then causes maps to no longer work, it keeps trying to connect and there isn't an option to manually select "Offline mode" in Carplay in my car or my iPhone. I have found posts with the same issues from 3 years ago. Please make it so we can manually go offline! I will reconnect manually when I have reliable service again.
This happens on multiple vehicles and I have tried USB or BlueTooth but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
Not all of us are in cities. I still have Sirius XM because that works everywhere else when Pandora decides it wants to insist on loading over a network that is not there in the middle of nowhere.
Hi @moxcord , welcome to the Pandora Community!
Yes, you can manually enable the offline listening. To do this you can use the following steps:
Once Offline Mode has been enabled, you will see only the content in your collection that has been downloaded for offline listening.
Let me know if you have any trouble with this.
It does work on my phone, however with having to be "hands free" for driving (it is illegal in most states to have your phone in your hand) it would be nice if there was an option for Carplay to more easily toggle this while driving without going to multiple menus on my iPhone.
Thanks
