Automotive: Station changes to Thumbprint station after a few songs

Lately when I start a station after one song it will switch to the Thumbprint station. After it plays a few songs on it, it will make a noise and restart at the beginning of the 1st song it played. Its getting fustrating while driving or kids trying to listen to their music (nonexplict). Please help.

Can you tell me a little  more about your vehicle, phone and experience so I can take a closer look.

1. What is the make, model and year of your vehicle?
   1. Do you use an aftermarket stereo?
2. What is the make and model of your phone?
3. How are you connected to your car - Bluetooth or USB?
4. Do you use CarPlay or Android Auto?
5. Have you experienced this issue only when in the car, or also when listening on your phone outside the car, like when connected to a speaker or TV?
