Music starts when I change volume

I have a 2020 Toyota Camry but I had a similar issue in my 2016 Volkswagen Jetta. If I'm listing to media through Android Auto from another app (YouTube, Mobdro, Ect.) and I wanted to adjust my volume, Pandora will start to play whatever song I last listened to. Also, if I pause or turn off Pandora, the media will mute itself. PLEASE, tell me there is a way to toggle this in Pandora or Android Auto, thank you!

Was a fix found for this? I have the same issue in my 2020 Toyota Camry but it does not happen in my partner's 2020 Chevy Silverado duramax on android auto
