Last week I had to replace my phone and loaded the Pandora app from play store. My new phone is the same model of my old phone and set up identically. Pandora via Sonos and Android auto are functioning normally.
Saturday I paired my new phone to my Garmin GPS on my bike. The Pandora control app on it will not connect. I can stream via BT though. There was a software update available for the Garmin that I applied, still no luck.
This morning I got into my Honda to head to work and paired the new phone and the Honda control app for Pandora will not connect. Again I can stream via BT.
Any ideas on this? It has me stumped. I am by no means technically challenged and have gone through all the BT and app settings and they are identical between phones. Right now there are 5 devices paired and streaming via BT but no connections to the 2 control apps.
Hi @Travlin
Welcome to community!
To better understand your experience I have some clarifying questions.
Garmin
When you mention the 'Pandora control app' do you mean the music playback controls that appear when connected? Pandora doesn't have a dedicated app for Garmin, so the connection would only be standard Bluetooth.
Honda
When you connect to your Honda do you typically use Android Auto? Or are you using the PandoraLink app integrated within the infotainment center?
If you're using Android Auto:
If you're using PandoraLink:
Other info
In the meantime, could you let me know some additional information about your phone and car?
Thanks for the help with these additional notes!
