How can I become a moderator?

Anyone know how to become a moderator? I want to like somehow join as a volunteer.

Currently, all moderators of the community are Pandora employees. If we do open the option up to the general public in the future, we will keep you in mind. In the meantime, I suggest doing what moderators do every day:

• Welcome others to the forums
• Suggest other threads that may relate to their question or topic
• Encourage others to share & share your own content

You’re right that there’s always room to grow, and the next step up is Up and Coming Artist.

To move up, the system looks at a mix of things like:
- How long you’ve been registered
- How often you post and reply
- The quality of your contributions (like accepted solutions, kudos received, and tagging)
- Creating or commenting on ideas and blog posts, and board posts.

In simple terms: the more you engage, help others, and share meaningful content, the closer you’ll get to unlocking that next rank.

As for becoming a moderator — at this time, all moderators are Pandora employees. If that changes in the future, we’ll be sure to keep passionate community members like you in mind. In the meantime, the best way to stand out is to do what our moderators do daily:

- Welcome new members
- Share helpful links and resources
- Encourage discussions and share your own experiences

You’re already building a strong foundation. Keep it up, and I’m excited to see your rank climb higher soon! 📈
