Ron from the Seattle metro area. My primary musical genre is Western classical music. I'm also quite fond of '70s and '80s rock, vintage Country and Western music, and vocal jazz. At this moment, listening to Brahms Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel, performed by American pianist Leon Fleisher (very very highly recommended!!!). It's great to check out various radio channels to listen to music outside my "comfort zone".
I have been using Pandora for 20 yrs or so....best guess. So I have been building my playlist of stations for a really long time. Recently I bought a couple bluetooth speakers and use Pandora now more than ever. I would like to know where to pose the question as to what is the problem with Pandora. Specifically why even though I typically use shuffle play I hear MANY of the same songs day after day. It has gotten so bad that I changed my "thumbs up" ranking to "thumbs down" on some songs since am so tired of hearing them over and over again. Please advise.
Hello my name is Kay , I'm a BIG Pandora fan and I like upbeat, electric, pop,and rap music . On other days if I'm feeling a bit sad or worried I'll listen to more quiet music but I rarely do that . Some things I really like are cats,wolves, sushi,Lord of The Rings, Jurassic movies, fish , making stuff, taekwondo ( it martial arts btw) archery, hunting, reading especially, listening to music ( definitely) and socializing and meeting new friends ❤️ Thank you for all that enjoy Pandora and share your stories !!

Tom Nelson here from Tom's Burned Down Cafe' in Northern Wisconsin. I am 72 years old and not great with puters. I should probably calm myself down before I vent on the wrong person. But I won't because PANDORA is not cooperating either. I couldn't find my way back here. Help won't help, Chat won't chat etc...
I'm a paid subscriber family or multiple user since 2020 or longer. Was not trying to buy my was into the community, but I'm stuck in here now, it was the only way to get my music turned back on. When PayPal took a poop on me last year it had a ripple effect through all my many many subscription renewals and PayPal did not provide any help at all.
In all this time since my initial subscription 2020 or earlier, I have been told that I can let family members in But never figured out how. Simultaneously I had to let some unknown someone else take my place and listen hundred times without knowing who. NOW, I'm in a PREMIUM FAMILY SUBSCRIPTION (Fully Pd Annually $198) unable to access any of my collection & also unable to Let My Family Listen.
WE QUIT SPOTIFY THE FIRST TIME JOANIE MITCHEL TOLD US TO! ONLY TO FIND PANDORA PUSHING THEIR SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES ONTO SOMETHING CALLED "THE COMMUNITY", HOPE YOU GUYS ARE GETTING PAID FOR YOUR TIME WORKING ON MY ACCOUNT. I'LL PAY YOU IF PANDORA WON'T.
Would you guys please direct me to someone who can pass me off to the right person to help me let a Family Member Listen to music?

Hey Tom — welcome in, friend. Glad you made it back. I can hear the frustration in what you wrote, and honestly, anyone in your shoes would feel the same. You’ve been paying for the service, trying to do things the right way, and it shouldn’t be this hard to get your own music and your own family connected.
Let me walk you through the Family Plan part — step by step — so you don’t have to fight with the “Help” pages anymore.
1. First, check the email tied to your Pandora account. Log in at: https://www.pandora.com/account
Whatever email shows there is the one Pandora uses to send Family Plan invitations.
2. To add family members:
Go to: https://www.pandora.com/account/subscription (pandora.com in Bing)
Look for “Manage Family Plan”
Enter your family member’s email address
They’ll get an invite that they must accept
(If they don’t see it, tell them to check spam/junk.)
3. If someone unknown was using your account before:
Change your password here: https://www.pandora.com/account
Then click “Sign out of all devices.”
That boots out anyone who shouldn’t be listening under your name.
4. If you still can’t access your collection: That usually means Pandora thinks you’re logged into a different account than the one you originally used.
Try logging out completely, then logging back in using the email from Step 1.
5. If none of this works, here’s the direct support link: https://help.pandora.com/s/contactsupport (help.pandora.com in Bing)
Choose “Subscription / Family Plan,” and they’ll email you back. (They do respond — it just sometimes takes a day.)
And Tom — don’t worry about “venting.” You weren’t rude. You were honest.
Rodriguez is a great choice, by the way.
