Yes I love them. Ronnie is one of my inspirations as a vocalist. I covered
his cover of Last Resort originally by Papa Roach
That is my favorite song of Ronnie’s. After that Popular Monster. I’m
working on a metalcore genre album for my next release project. All the
songs will be inspired by the bands Bad Omens, Falling in reverse, The Plot
in you, Bring me the horizon, etc. the list goes on and on but those bands
are some of the biggest inspirations. I’ve covered several of Bad Omens
songs that are also my favorite songs of theirs. I am enjoying taking an
interest into creating the type of songs those guys have given to us.
Covering their music has helped me so much in my own original work so I’m
super grateful. I don’t know if I will ever release any of the covers just
yet. As of now they are for me to have fun with.

I've been a "black sheep" and have settled with not everyone understanding or enjoying the music I may like. The variety of music or timing ISN'T for everyone and  I'm not either so it's ok.😄 I've spent a majority of my life in the south especially since having  grown up in Tennessee and CANNOT deal with Country music like most of the people I know but can vary in music choices ranging from Eminem and Tech Nine, Korn and FFDP to Chuck Berry or Credence Clearwater Revival and not miss a beat. How average or normal are most people's music choices? What is the variation degree for you and how far can you bend if need be? I'm curious so any help is appreciated.

My name is Cody and I'm from the great state of Montana.

I don't really have a specific type of favorite music that I listen to... I guess if I HAD to choose, it would be something uplifting(not that, that is a genre).

I've beyond enjoyed listening to Pandora... Since 2007, apparently.

If you listen to my Thumbs Up playlist it will show you my journey from when I was 16-17 to now, 34 (ouch). I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

My favorite genre? That’s a really tough question for me to answer! But if
I had to pick one genre as if it was the only one I could listen to I guess
I would probably have to go with metalcore and the hard bands style music.
If we’re putting all the rock genres under the umbrella of “rock” then I
would have to go with rock music as my favorite genre of music.

Nice to see you like a wide variety of music. That's true, not every music style is for everyone and not everybody likes to listen to different stuff, and as you mentioned, that's ok!

You mentioned that you are ok not fitting and being the Black Sheep, but I still hope you can find a space for you here on the Community.

From the ones you mentioned I really love Five Finger Death Punch, my favorite song is Lift Me Up (feat. Rob Halford) or Wrong Side of Heaven. Also Chuck Berry, I used to listen to him with my Dad so I ended up loving his music too.

I get you, I love lots of musical genes but most of times I listen to songs that make me feel powerful or that bring me some kind of comfort.

Hmmm interesting, I'm not sure what would be the gaming genre, do you mean like songs that are used as soundtracks for games? Or maybe like the 8-bit songs? Is there any song you'd recommend from that genre?
