What is a solution author?

So what is a Solution Author, and what do they do? I never found out. I went to the Help tab, but the bot didnt do anything, just kept repeating 'i am here to help' but not really, since it isn't answering my question 👹. So I am looking for help from a (hopefully) real human entity. Thank you!

I am pretty sure that it is when somebody needs help and another Pandora user gives them the help or answer that they need.

@RagnerTheHiker is on the right track. An Accepted Solution is a way to call out the most helpful reply to your question. It connects the question and answer with visible icons and quick links, and also shows up in search and board views. You can accept a solution on your own post, and moderators have that ability too.

Here's an example of an accepted solution.

Anyone whose reply is selected becomes a Solution Author. ✅
