Was just talking to a friend about two greatest live shows i've ever seen, both of them happened to be down the street at the paramount theater here in oakland! first up: NINA SIMONE (not too long before she died); but also STEVIE WONDER on MLK's birthday (sometime in late 90's), so of course he sang happy birthday and we all hugged and sobbed
