For the past couple weeks when I listen to Pandora on the web on my laptop, it stops playing after every song if I'm not on the Pandora tab. For context, I use Google Chrome as my web browser on my laptop, and usually have several tabs open at once. Lately, unless Pandora is the tab I'm actively looking at, it won't play the next song, and I have to go back to the Pandora tab to play the next song. The only thing the Pandora Help page offers is this:
"Enable Autoplay for Pandora in Chrome
Chrome introduced a policy that blocks unwanted autoplays and sounds when a user opens a new website on their desktop. This policy may prevent Pandora from automatically playing your station when you first open it in the browser.
In order to bypass this, you'll need to manually click on the play button in order to initiate playback on Pandora. Over time, Chrome should learn your autoplay preference when you open Pandora."
But I've been using both Chrome and Pandora for years and this hasn't been a problem. Chrome automatically updates, and I've tried clearing cookies, as well as going into my Chrome settings and updating my permissions to allow Pandora to play sound and use pop-ups and redirects. I do use AdBlock, but I have disabled AdBlock on the Pandora website. I'm just not sure what else to do.
