Pandora will not rotate properly through artists in my station

I have had Pandora since it was new, and the algorithm is terrible. "B sounds like A, play it. C sounds like B, play it. A sounds like C, play it."

It doesn't rotate through the list of artists I've added to stations. For instance, two of the first I added to my classic rock station were Hendrix and Joplin, but the system hasn't played them in years.

This is why I don't listen that often. I like the music it plays, but it's only a tiny selection of the artists I've put into the system. 

Is there a way to correct this?

I'm sorry to hear your sation is not playing as you'd like. I understand that it's frustrating not to hear the artist that you've seeded a station with, but at this time, listeners have limited control over when or how often particular artists or songs will play on Pandora stations.

That said, you should be able to use Pandora Modes to customize your station experience when you're listening from a computer, mobile device or the Sonos app. You can pick different modes like Artist Only, which will play only tracks from the artist headlining your station (unless you've added variety to your station, in which case it will play tracks from those artists as well).

Please keep in mind that Artist Only mode will only exist on relevant stations.
