It would love to be able to delete my search history, don’t like having a long list of old searches

It has been years now that this feature is not available.  Everyone can agree that they get something in the recently played that they don't want and all we want to do is click the ... menu and have the option to remove from recent history.

Can you tell me if Pandora has even looked into it, worked on it, working on it, or just decided they wont do it?

An answer goes a long way on this.

It's super frustrating to see old searches come up. I would like to be able to delete old searches.

i feel like we should be able to delete our recent favorites list or have an option to delete all with the option of being able to modify it by selecting or unselecting exactly what you want to delete or not to delete

I agree. It would be nice to have this feature, and it doesn't seem like it would be difficult to add to Pandora.

My recent play bar is quite annoying because of how much there is. This idea is a great one. Upvote❤️

If you log out and sign back in your recent searches should disappear.

AdamPandoraClearly the recommended "Feature Requests" process is not effective with only 18 closed cases & 117 still pending. A solution is needed however not yet available for the lack of attention to detail while designing the user interface for basic navigation. The Pandora user community has addressed this issue repeatedly regarding the missing simple option to Delete an item from Recently Played. Per Pandora's Community Manager's response on 06/23/2020 "it sounds like this album is showing in your recent listening history - if that is the case, there isn't actually a way to clear this." This answer is simply not good enough.

Hi Pandora,

I would like to share some thoughts about the aforementioned topic. I hope by the end of our conversation a mutually agreeable solution can be met, and I strongly hope Pandora and its moderators are willing to help.

As anyone can see, this issue (deleting our "recently played" items) has been languishing for several years now. Anyone reading this thread is feeling frustrated, at best.

To be fair, we get it, being a large corporation, the wheels can move slowly.

But as you can see, this issue is ongoing and not going away.

Many of us (paying [me and others] and non-paying) evolve over time and our tastes change. We know you know this; this isn't news. But, if I may speak in a manner that may resonate, having dissatisfied customers is a surefire way to lose revenue. On the other hand, having a platform that listens (no pun intended) to its customer base and can flex with our growth is a sure way to keep the cash flowing and promote loyalty in this highly competitive music streaming environment. Many of us like Pandora, but I am sure many have left because they weren't heard.

Our request to have the option to delete our "recently played" items is still on the table and Pandora's effort to resolve this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Well said, CM4.  You've made some great points here that Pandora would be wise to listen to.  Unfortunately, I lost hope in them a long time ago, and switched my whole family over to Spotify.  We're loving it.  It's a lot better than Pandora, offers more options, and I don't feel constantly ignored.  I recommend switching.  Pandora's customer service has proven itself to be bottom shelf.
