Pandora seems to have an app for every smart device I have ever bought, except a new car with AAOS (Android Automotive OS). Please port a tablet version of Pandora for AAOS so that I can use that instead of radio or Spotify (which does have an app).
New GM vehicles no longer support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and instead use Android Automotive OS. While this in itself is a questionable decision for GM, the issue for Pandora is that on new Chevy's, Buick's and Cadillac's the only way to listen to Pandora is via Bluetooth, while competitor music services (Amazon Music, Spotify) support this OS natively. Please consider releasing a version of Pandora for Android Automotive OS.
I just bought a new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV. As many people have previously said on this thread, Pandora is not available on Android automotive. However, all of Pandora's competitors are available such as Amazon music and Spotify. Pandora developers, please add your app to Android automotive. This is especially important with GM cars, since they do not allow carplay or Android auto.
Will the developers please pay attention to this request? More and more vehicles are switching to an automotive OS, most being Android but Apple is trying to get in the game as well.
Please add Pandora to AAOS. I have used Pandora for so long. Not having an app for my vehicle when everyone else (even SoundCloud) does, plus the lower quality audio format, makes me wonder if this app is getting close to death. It would be a real shame to see Pandora disappear.
Pandora is owned by SiriusXm... SiriusXm sends me junk mail every week trying to get my money to put xm back in my car. SiriusXm, I am already paying you for Pandora, get it in my car soon or I'll be finishing my migration to Spotify. At the very least I need an official response on this or I'll be canceling my premium subscription by the end of the year.
Why us Pandora always on the short end of the stick. Cars and music are a perfect match. Maybe I should just give up and move over to Spotify - First not Tesla Pandora app and now now Android Automotive native app. This stinks.
I've thought the same, but it comes down to Pandora being the best option for "radio stations." I've used many music services, but none of them do as well at creating stations as Pandora does. Thus, I keep paying for Pandora premium, year after year.
