Am I the only one who thinks we should have a way to exclude live performances from our listening experience? Make this happen.

Hmmm, I thought I posted here already but just scanned the thread & couldn't find it, so here's my $0.02, lol.

I personally don't go out of my way 4 the live version(s) of music, but I wouldn't block it outright(account-wide) as there are some(few) instances, none of which come 2 mind atm, I've experienced in which the live version was, IMHO, better than the studio version.  Still, I ABSOLUTELY support a version of this feature being implemented into the Pandora experience.  I think it'd B a good 1 2 add 2 the paid tier(s) as an actually good incentive 2 subscribe.  As it is, I'd subscribe if their advertised claim of "zero interruptions" was EVER actually realized. Since their policies literally contradict such claims, I wait 4 the day the Pandora experience reverts 2 what it was B4 it was purchased & turned into a nearly useless cash cow that's slowly being killed by the parent/umbrella company.  Little hope 4 it tho. If they ever actually start changing it 4 the better,  implementing this feature as a standard toggle part of all filters(whole-account coverage, search filter, per-channel filter, etc...) would B SUCH a great addition.  And to ANY who think the thumb-system is satisfactory to achieve the desired result, you understand neither that system, nor the desired result experienced users want!

Hi,

I feel the same way, you’re definitely not alone. Sometimes you just want the original studio version, not a live or remixed track that changes the whole vibe. Having an option to exclude live performances or remixes would really improve the listening experience and give users more control.

On platforms like Pandora, this kind of filtering would be a great quality-of-life feature. From my experience running a streaming-focused site like Yacine TV, I’ve seen how much users appreciate simple controls that let them choose exactly what they want to watch or listen to—whether it’s live content or on-demand media.
