...I deleted the playlist, which said it was by me(so must've been REALLY old as I've no memory of creating a playlist), & it took a little while of navigating around Pandora for it to finally no longer show up on the above screenshot'd channel, BUT that seems to be the only remedy. I decided to submit this post despite having solved the problem(sort of) since, again, I found nothing about this issue anywhere else on the forum & I'm sure that folks will run into this at 1 point or another in the future.(so for informational purposes) Mods, do with it what you will. Assuming I wanted to preserve the playlist, does ANYone have any idea how we'd resolve the issue of being unable to UN-link it from the channel?

I want(ed) to remove/UN-link the "LINKED PLAYLIST" shown in these pictures. ...But, as you can see, there's no such option. WHY? Anybody else run into this & find nothing about this particular issue here on the forums?

@AdamPandora I appreciate your partial response. As for clarity: What helps😊: "archived content cannot be viewed again" What we already knew😐: "...lyrics that are incorrect ... you can post them on this thread." "all users have the ability to mark a post a solution." What's yet to be addressed⏱: The point of archiving & essentially restarting a developed thread " do the Mods mark their answers as Solution..." or "...does it"(their responses being thus marked) "happen automatically"(like by default)? "are there actually users"(non-moderators) "voting this way for things that are just instructions on how to submit feedback"? (the only problem that such instructions actually solve is the problem of "How do I submit feedback?" Since the thread was never about that, such posts are not the solution.) I hope this response/format doesn't come across as belligerent, but I wanted to call to light this issue that seems to be contributing to the forum dying: SO much of what is asked gets 'skirted around', if not left completely unanswered. This practice(which has plagued my experience here from the start since I rejoined within these last several years), combined with policies that severely limit user interaction with the forum here, have an extremely negative effect on user moral/motivation to be active in this community. I'd love to see it addressed & better communication striven for instead of hampered. This is part of my effort toward that end. If it is unacceptable, well, I think that'd be very sad indeed, but I don't know how else we can solve such issues than to do our part to bring it to light & talk about it. It is a forum after all. Even so much as, "I cannot currently discus that issue openly" is better than completely ignoring the inquiry, ya know?

I've verified that my "Explicit Content" setting, which I'm led to believe WOULD "Allow explicit content" IF it were ON, is OFF (as I believe it has ALWAYS been): Brother, an explanation of parts of Pandora on which we can expect this feature to work, and a template for submitting future feedback within the thread, is neither a solution to an inherently broken part of Pandora, nor accepted by us regular users as such. Believing/marking that such a post's content is a solution to the explicit filter failing is akin to believing one can solve a complaint that management doesn't listen to its employees by simply putting a feedback/suggestion box in the workplace accessible to all said employees. In either case, NO one is convinced that it does anything when the issue leading to the complaints remains unchanged, & most people find the asserted idea that an actual solution has been offered to be offensive to the intelligence of the general populace. An issue like what's complained about in this thread has only 1 solution, which cannot be delivered by anyone's reply here, & it looks like this: The specified problem stops happening & complaints of this particular issue cease to be made. Sure, one could communicate the observation of the solution in a reply, but that reply would still not be the solution to the problem. Y'all might just need to accept the fact that, as long as the only way to have it show that it's solved is to pick a reply to be the "Accepted Solution", some of these threads must logically remain in an "unsolved" status.

Seemingly Random 24hr "Complimentary" Plus Subscription...???
Well, this is very interesting. This evening(2025-2-05), upon checking my email, I saw one from pandora@pandora.com with the subject line "Welcome to Pandora Plus" received just before 1500hrs Pacific Time t'day. My 1st thought was, "WTFrick? I didn't subscribe to Plus! Has my account been compromised?!" & so I did some digging. I found a notification was waiting for me advising that I'd earned the Plus Subscriber Badge at 11:43am, & when I go to my Pandora Settings & look under the Subscriptions section, it says, "Your complimentary subscription of Pandora Plus ends on 2/6/2025."
... So, it's complimentary. ...for 24hrs or less? LOL! Anybody else get this?
@mods, what happened here? Glitch? Clerical error? The email mentions nothing about it being a complimentary subscription & if I'm not the only 1 getting this unsolicited gift, I know I'm also not the only one confused & concerned about my account. It seems there's certainly room for improvement in communication as far as such goes.

So, I came back to submit more to the thread containing tons of incorrect lyrics issues a couple days ago, but found it now tells me "The content you're looking for has been archived..." & I wonder, "Where can I, if even possible, view archived content?" followed by, "If I can't, what's the point of telling me it's been archived? Is this just Pandora's way of sweeping this glaring issue that's seemingly been untouched under the rug & making it look new or less prevalent than it actually is??" Also, do the Mods mark their answers as Solution, does it happen automatically, or are there actually users voting this way for things that are just instructions on how to submit feedback vs actual solutions? I notice this all the time & it seems like the default.🤔

...huh, this is weird. When on the main playing screen, it shows this:
It's obviously got lyrics on it.^
But if you click the "See All Lyrics" button, you get this:
How are the lyrics undefined, yet showing on the previous screen??

Something I don't yet understand about this forum is how "solutions" are chosen. I would think that it would be up to the OP of a thread, or perhaps voting by the members, but it seems that a majority of the time the moderator replies are automatically designated as solution.😕 Thankfully, there is(or at least has been) an option to remove that designation when appropriate, but I can't see how to pick one that's clearly the solution & set it as such. Here's a screenshot of what I would select as solution to the issue in this thread's original post... if it would let me: ...but, as you(hopefully) can see, there's no option for that in the drop-down menu. I supposed it's possible, though I don't remember, that I already told the system that the reply was NOT the solution(which I would have done at the time I first read it due to the fact it was already designated as solution before I had a chance to implement the advised changes!), but I feel it would be pretty stupid if that made it so that that reply could NEVER be re-designated as solution. That would be like saying people don't change their minds, which we all can agree would be pure lunacy. @TannerPandora or others, do tell?

This is considered unacceptably explicit language, thus this piece of music shouldn't have played.

@coachart -chuckles- My first experience here on the forum taught me that they really seem to prioritize their "guidelines" over just about anything else, often completely ignoring inquires within posts that somehow violate them. It is kinda mind blowing, but yea, seems the higher-ups have the company(s) moving in other directions. 😒 I guess what I'm saying is: 'Agreed' & 'Don't hold your breath.'

I remember when this actually WAS a thing you could do on Pandora(the closest thing you can do now is remember the name/artist of the song you like, navigate to the channel you want it on, add it as a seed, then thumb it down on the channel it's playing on 'incorrectly'). I don't understand their reasoning for a lot of things, especially the removal of useful features like that. You used to be able to tell it to move it to another station & I think it would put it under that stations thumbed-up songs. It's been like a decade though, so memory's a bit old. 😒 Pandora! PLEASE bring this feature back!

Re: "Also, some radio edits are very brief, so you may end up hearing the first and last part of a word which can often sound explicit." If you can tell what's being said, then it's not censored, it's it? Case in point: "F**k U" is no more a mystery than "macaroni and ch**se", no? It is just as asinine to consider a piece of audio to be 'clean'(or 'unprofane') when you can so easily decipher the filth by ear as it is to accept the above text in my 'example' as adequately "censored." At the very least, one should have to use the context of the sentence heard to figure it out. A properly censored **** will, in and of itself, give no clues as to what it is. In short, for those of us trying to enjoy music without profanity, incomplete editing thereof is akin to *coughing* while saying it, which we all know doesn't actually cover anything. Editors need to stop trying to see how much they can get away with & just acknowledge that not everyone wants to hear, nor will consider acceptable, certain references. Re: "Lastly, the explicit filter will only apply to your stations; it doesn't apply to podcasts or any on-demand content..." As can be determined in all my posts in which I've included screenshots across this & other threads, I only listen to my stations. Does the ad-unlocked hour applied to my channels mean that what's played for the duration is considered "on-demand"?🤨 If so, that needs to change as it's just as off-base of a "feature" as the afore-mentioned 'weak edits' being considered properly "censored".
