Ideas: Following or subscribing artists

It seems like Pandora is missing a HUGE capability. Unless there is some way to do this I can't discover. So I listed to a station or a genre. I hear a tune I REALLY like. I check out the artist, and I can explore them, but I can't find a way to keep track of them. A week later, there's no way I remember the name of that artist. Give me a way to follow or track an artist and review and edit the list when I want to.

In relation to this idea it should be much easier for newer artists to upload their work and for people to create stations out of their discography without it being completely overshadowed by more well known artists. When I’ve tried to create stations with more underground artists there’s either no way to do this or the station ends up being overrun by more mainstream music. I personally like to add everything into shuffle because it feels more organic to stumble across new stuff but in general more underground artists tend to be woefully underrepresented. I’m not gonna make the switch because on a certain level f*ck Spotify but they have this platform beat on encouraging independent artists.

I think that it would be nice to be able to subscribe to specific artists so that one can hear their favorite artist's new songs as they come out. And maybe there could be a playlist that has your subscribed artists new songs added to your collection that grows as your subscribed artists come out with new songs.
