I can't believe this is still not an option for premium accounts on the Android app. It's not very often that I sit at my desktop PC. It makes me so angry! Variety. Variety is what I pay my subscription for, and the "I'm tired of this track" feature is one of the best ways to hear other songs for a while. I've been curating my main station since 2006, with a couple thousand thumbs up/down!
This is now available with version 2011.1 of Pandora. 🎉
If you'd like to prevent a song from playing for a while, but you don't want to give it a thumbs down, you can select "I'm tired of this track."
For free and Plus listeners, the Now Playing screen, just tap the album artwork to view the track details, then tap the three dots in the top right and select I'm tired of this song.
Premium listeners can tap the three dots under the album art and then select I'm tired of this song.
