Thanks Adam, it works now 🙂
Happy to hear that, @jaiswalayush.
Enjoy the music! 😎
I dont see it either
@mcuocs27 I moved your post over to this existing thread: Can't edit/add variety to genre stations
To clarify, Genre stations, such as "Broadway Showtunes" are stations curated by Pandora, and they behave a little bit differently than your own personalized stations. One difference is that you cannot edit or Add Variety to these stations.

Hope this helps explain.
I'm having the same issue. nothing is as described. Its like I have a different version of Pandora
I have tried on mobile and PC. I can only delete the station, nothing else.
@MrBobcat I'm happy to help look into this.
Please send me:
Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝
I have been trying to add variety to a station of mine and all of the steps listed on Pandora's help site do not match up with what I am seeing. The site says to go into backstage and edit the station and there should be an add variety option at the bottom of the station details page and it simply does not exist. I have tried doing this from my Android phone as well as a PC desktop and there is no add variety button anywhere to be found where it supposedly is. I am not a Pandora Premium subscriber so if this is the reason that is fine but Pandora's help article on this says it is still possible even if you are a free user. I have included screenshots of what I am seeing for reference. This is literally everything on the respective devices that i am seeing on the edit pages for the stations. I know I have been able to do this in older versions of Pandora but it evidently has been removed or moved somewhere else or isn't available to free members. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is driving me nuts and I am having to create multiple stations and then shuffle them to get variety but then if I want to change up the shuffle stations once in a while I would have to change the current shuffle stations but I would rather just be able to switch stations and still get variety without needing to shuffle.

Thank you for clarifying. Was not aware that genre stations were not able to be given variety but the reasoning behind it makes sense. I would like to see a feature like someone had mentioned earlier in this thread that would allow for the genre stations to be edited with some variety and then made into a personal station as a way to kind of lump together the songs curated by pandora in with other genre stations. For example I'd like combine the synthwave station with say vaporwave since they are similar but I feel like I'm maybe missing out on discovering new artists I've never heard by doing this without the need to create an entirely new station and then edit my shuffled stations to only be those couple stations and then back if I want to listen to those stations as well as something else mixed in. Thanks for the clarification though, now I don't need to drive myself crazy thinking I'm missing something I know used to be there, lol.
Always happy to help, @cobaltdriver. 😁
Hi.
Would you be able to fix my account so I too can add variety to the pre-curated stations?
Thanks.
@BigGayDave What is the name of the station you are unable to add variety to?
Let me know.

I'm aware of that, but a previous Pandora person was able to make those
changes for someone else, so I reasoned it could be done for me too. I'm
paying Pandora to be a glorified shuffle. I do not care about curation and
am aware adding influence would change the station. That's why I want to do
it.
Also, based on the lack of acceptance from users, the accepted solution doesn't appear to be.
I do not know how to link to a different post in a different thread, so please forgive the following mess.
Hi @Meowrissa,
I was just checking out your stations.
Keep in mind, Genre and Hybrid stations, such as "Today's Hits" or "Classic Rock," are stations curated by Pandora, and they behave a little bit differently than your own personalized stations. You won't be able to add variety to these stations.
That's because Adding Variety could change your listening experience on these stations; added seeds would most likely inspire music outside of the scope of the intended genre.
There was a bug previously that allowed listeners to add variety and edit genre stations. This bug has since been resolved. I did look at your 'Justin Timberlake Radio' station and notice this was renamed from a genre station called 'Today's Hits Radio', that's why you aren't able to add or edit variety to this stations.
I was able to make a small change on my end, you should now be able to edit or add variety once again.
Hope this helped. Thanks for listening!
- Let's share music in the Playlist Swap
This is what I want you to do to my account, so that I may edit curated stations for my personal enjoyment.
I would also like to point out that anyone wanting to add influence to a curated station is of course trying to change their listening experience. That's the point.
@BigGayDave That person was running into a different issue.
If you'd like to have the option to add variety to genre stations you collection, I recommend upvoting this existing feature request: Ability to Edit Genre Stations
In the meantime,I recommend you create a new station based off of one of your favorite tracks that plays on EDM Music Festival station.
You can then add variety to that new station as you were hoping to do with our curated genre station.
Hope this helps!
No they weren't. They were trying to add variety to a curated station, and since that used to be allowed due to a bug, they are clearly able to reverse the process on an account by account basis. Guess what every music player has as a basic feature? Shuffle. Guess what putting my own playlists together is? Curated. Like I said, I pay for a glorified shuffle service.
I'd really like to know, what exactly is the harm in letting users modify curated stations? You all are treating these like they're magical creations especially curated by unicorns or something. Somebody created a playlist or more likely an algorithm that can be applied to many genres' and automate the process. I appreciate the technical aspect, but I'd really like to stop playing games and get back enjoying the service I pay for.
It was called Smooth Jazz Radio I renamed it Smooth Jazz dropped the radio. its one that I created I used to be able to edit it. Now its telling me its a Pandora created station. it is not, i created it.
I guess that is why its no longer letting me to edit it Pandora took ownership of my creation?
I'm in the same boat --- my station is called 2000s Hip Hop (https://pandora.app.link/SwnFK8Zlhmb)

It looks like that is a Genre station.

While there was once a bug that allowed users to add additional artist/song seeds to their Genre stations, that bug has since been resolved.
At this point, it is no longer possible to edit the name of these stations, or to add variety.
