@listenhere I moved your post over to this existing thread: Can't edit/add variety to genre stations
It looks like that is a Genre station.
To clarify, Genre stations, such as "2000s Hip Hop" are stations curated by Pandora, and they behave a little bit differently than your own personalized stations. One difference is that you cannot edit or Add Variety to these stations.

Ah ok, thank you
Always happy to help, @listenhere. 😁
Can i add a new artist to a station I created previously? On my PC I have my station / I'm on the "now playing" window. To the right of the album image of what is currently playing are the words "tune your station" - but it is not a link. When I click on those words nothing happens. It used to work - that was how I previously added an artist to "seed" a station. Is that feature now gone? Is there a limit to the number of artists you can have to "seed" a station? New artists come out all the time - I'd like to add them to this station. Thank you!
@godoffire What is the name of the station you are unable to add variety to?
Let me know.
Hi - thanks for the reply!!!!
The name of the station I am trying to "seed" with new artists is 00 Party Mix
Those are zero's - not the letter O. 🙂
That way the station jumps to the top with an alphabetical sort. It is the station I play 75% of the time - I listen through Pandora CONSTANTLY - It is on all day at home and at the office, and in my boat. I listen through my Sonos app / system but tune the station directly in the Pandora app either on my iPhone or on my PC.
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!

It looks like that is a Genre station - you originally created the Adult Alternative station, and later renamed it to be 00 Party Mix.
To clarify, Genre stations, such as "Adult Alternative" are stations curated by Pandora, and they behave a little bit differently than your own personalized stations. One difference is that you cannot edit or Add Variety to these stations.
While there was once a bug that allowed users to add additional artist/song seeds to their Genre stations, that bug has since been resolved.
At this point, it is no longer possible to edit the name of these stations, or to add variety.

Hi - thank you for the clear and detailed response!!!!! Makes complete sense!!!
Can I delete the Genre Station "seeding" I started with of "Adult Alternative" and then add variety / will it let me do that?
If no - can I create a new station starting with an artist and then add variety as I did in the past?
@godoffire Unfortunately, you won't be able to delete the actual Genre seeding from that station.
However you are more than welcome to start a new station using a new artist - if you choose to go that route, you will be able to add variety as you have in the past.
Hope this helps!
This does not show on all stations.
@jeffnn What is the name of the station you are unable to add variety to?
Can you please send me a screenshot of what you are seeing?
Thanks!
@AdamPandora I just sent you a message with screenshots.
Thanks for following up, @jeffnn.

AdamPandora has made this crystal clear to me. If you want to seed / add variety to a station, start a new one from a specific artist. Do NOT pick a "genre" / a station curated by Pandora. Anyone like me who started with a genre and was able to add variety / edit in the past was only able to do so due to a bug in the software. Adam's quick and accurate and detailed response was fantastic!!!! I've NEVER seen something that quick / clear on a user community board.
@AdamPandora Can I remove the Pandora curated station as a seed from my version of the station without removing the station from my list of stations and needing to set a new one up again?
@jeffnn Unfortunately, you won't be able to remove the genre seed your station was originally created from.
Hope this helps clarify.
The process you outlined for changing the names of stations I created does not work for me. When I click on the 3 ellipses for any station, only 2 options appear: "Remove from your Collection" and "Share."
Can you explain and / or help?
Thank you.
@sandrav654 What is the current name of the station you are trying to re-name?
Can you please send me a screenshot of what you're seeing?
Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝
Hi, Adam, thanks for responding.
Attached is a screenshot of my station “Jazz, Smooth.” There are other stations I’ve created with similar names, e.g. “Jazz, Oscar Peterson” and “Jazz, Kenny G,” each representing a certain type of jazz to which I enjoy listening. If you are able to see all of my stations, you can also see that I’ve using a similar naming convention for Christmas music and Country music, e.g. “Christmas, _______” for different types of Christmas music, and “Country, ______” for different types of Country music. But no matter what station it is that’s in my list, I cannot rename ANY of them.
Thanks for your help in figuring this out.
Sandy

It looks like your Jazz, Smooth station is actually our Smooth Jazz Genre station that was later renamed.
While there was once a bug that allowed users to edit the names of their Genre stations, that bug has since been resolved.
