Cannot Remove Collected Artist from My Collection

Have one Artist that shows in My Collection.  I choose Artists, select the Artist, get to where I see  the “collected” button;  when I click there, to “uncollect” the artist, it immediately resets it to be collected.  

This song/artist is not tied to a Station. I really want to clean up My Collection, and cannot get this off the list.  I use an iPad or iPhone app.  HELP?

@TheOneStation That likely means you have a specific song or album by that artist that has been added to your collection.

Try sorting your collection by Songs to remove any tracks by that artist from your collection.

Then sort your collection by Albums to remove any albums by that artist that has been added to your collection.

If that does not resolve the issue, please let me know the name of the artist you would like to remove.

Adam Hello, yes this seems to be a problem removing an artist from "my collection" on your phone. My phone happens to be an android . I can't seem to do it even online. I accidently added an rap artist who I can not remove from my collection and its very frustrating. 

I did see the thread about removing a station so added this guys station and removed his station hoping it would remove him from "my collection" but it didn't, it removed his station but he remains in my collection and comes up when I'm thumbing through to find a artist that I like. Please help!

@MGM7 What is the name of the artist you need help removing?

Also, can you please send me a screenshot of where you see them in your collection?
