Looped song only plays for 30 minutes with Pandora Plus

CanCan08
Casual Fan

I have pandora plus, and when I go to a song to play it on repeat, it only does so for 30 minutes. My internet is stable, my app for android is updated to the most recent version, so what gives? I noticed it plays the "ding" sound right before it switches to a completely different song. (The "ding" sound is what plays immediately after watching an ad on pandora plus in order to go to it)

I want to play the song on repeat for hours, not hitting an ad every 30 minutes! 😞 If there's a limit, then I guess I'll just have to go back to YouTube and cancel my subscription for Pandora- at least they allow me to loop a song for 6+hrs at a time.

@CanCan08 Nice to see you around the community.

I do see your account is currently subscribed to Pandora Plus.

When you search and select the name of an artist, track, or album, you will be taken to a "backstage page." You can either create a radio station or press play.

Because on-demand listening is only available to Premium users, you will see an ad for Premium or be prompted to view a video ad in order to access Premium features at no cost.

Your account will revert to your Plus subscription once your Premium session concludes.

This would explain why you are unable to "loop" a song for an extended period of time, as when your Premium session ends, your account reverts back to Pandora Plus.

Upgrading to Premium or accepting a Premium session is completely optional; you can close the ad and we'll create a station for you to listen to instead (if one is available).

If you would like to upgrade to Pandora Premium on your Android device:

  1. Open the Pandora app and sign in (if necessary).
  2. Go to the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar and tap the Settings gear in the top right corner.
  3. Select Subscription. From here you can view your current plan, as well as your options for upgrading to Premium.

For more information about subscription options, please visit our website and select Get Premium or View Plans.

I hope this is helpful!
