Music is repetitive in shuffle mode

For the last week or so every time I turn on Pandora (phone and desktop) it shuffles in the same order.  To the point that I can call what the next genre is going to be.  It starts with 90s country, then Tom Petty, then 90s Pop, then Beatles, etc.  How do I fix this?  It's driving me crazy! I have probably close to 100 stations on my shuffle and it keeps going in the same order. every. time...

@kjfrey55 @Pandora advised me that stations work best with only 3 or 4 seeds. I had spent a lot of time adding songs and artists to my station. I'm getting a better variety now. The repetitiveness is somewhat better after I created a station with 3 seeds

I have the same problem - it seems to use the same order and same favorites every time I play in IOS.  I look forward to a fix from your engineers as this smells like a bug.

Why does shuffle skip so many stations, even though I've marked them for inclusion into the mix?

Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device?

1. If you are on a computer, are you listening from:
• A Mac or Windows computer?
• Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using?
2. If you are on a device, what is the make and model (and carrier, if applicable)?
3. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?
4. What stations are you unable to add to Shuffle Mode?
5. Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing?

We listen to Pandora, typically in shuffle stations mode, on iPhones, chromebook, macbook air, Roku TV, and in the car (usually via bluetooth connection to phone).  In short, wherever and however we can!  We have a lot of stations, and have checked most of them for inclusion in shuffle mode.  In most cases, the stations represent artists, not songs, albums, or playlists.  For quite awhile, shuffle has played a repetitive subset of songs from maybe a third to half of our stations.  So there's a lot of music we like that we're not hearing.  And even for those artists that are included, we get very little variety in the songs selected for play.

Any suggestions for a fix?

Hello,  I have my account set to "shuffle mode"; I am listening to stations.  I continue to hear the same songs.  It seams that quite a few (not all) are my "thumbs up" songs (I am not listening to my thumbs up playlist).    It seems that with 40+ stations I would have a wide variety.   I am streaming from the Pandora app on my Samsung TV and in my car from the Pandora app on my iPhone 13.  I do not listen from the internet (Windows).   Suggestions?   Thanks in advance.  Brenda

@WeddingWoman @@@@This has been a Pandora problem for many years with many complaints. The solutions they suggest do not work. You may have too many stations that are similar. I had to quit giving thumbs up and I deleted all my previous thumbs up to make it a little better

I left  Pandora for Youtube music.  It is better, but seems to also have trouble shuffling. Hard to understand.
