Why is everyone saying there is no crossfade feature in Pandora when all my songs are overlapping and have been for months. I can't find how to stop this. The songs play over too much and you can't even tell what song you are listening to during the crossfade. I want to go back to the gap between songs because I'm sick of not hearing the end and beginning of a song because they are overlapping too much.
Moderator Edit: Edited title for clarity
@FleetFeet Thanks for flagging this — I can understand how frustrating it would be to have songs overlapping to the point where you can’t clearly hear the endings and beginnings.
Pandora doesn’t currently have a crossfade feature, so what you’re describing definitely isn’t expected behavior. We’d like to take a closer look and figure out what might be causing this on your end.
Could you tell me a bit more about what you’re experiencing?
Also, it would really help to know what you’re listening on:
If you’re on a computer:
If you’re on a mobile device:
Once we have a bit more detail, we’ll be able to dig in and help get your listening experience back to normal.
My apologies. I listen to both Pandora and Apple Music all the time and now I realize the cross fade is happening when I play my playlist on Apple Music but not when playing my music on Pandora. Thank you for your response and making me pay closer attention to when this is happening. I will address it through my settings on Apple Music. Thank you.
