Q: Is there a way to nix comments on official Pandora stations?

Hi! Looked and didn't see a similar post, so asking fresh: is there a way to turn off those "New on ___ Radio" style notices and similar on official Pandora-made stations? Similar to how you can switch off artist audio messages on stations?

@mokie Thanks for following up.

Sometimes we may feature a track on a station that is accompanied by a quick announcement as you described. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to prevent those tracks from playing, however I have made sure to pass your feedback along to the appropriate parties.

If you'd like the option to have more control over your stations to prevent those from playing, I recommend creating a new thread in our Ideas space. This will give others around the community a chance to upvote your idea if it's something they are interested in seeing as well.

I hope this helps explain.

@mokie Can you please send me a screenshot of the notification you are referring to the next time one plays?

(Please note you won't be able to attach images via email - you will need to open this Community link in a web browser in order to provide attachments)

Thanks for working with me on this.

Can't screenshot a sound ๐Ÿ™‚

Pandora recommended a station. Coffee Shop Radio, I think. (I'll use the name for sake of example here.) I gave it a try, and a couple of songs in, one song was preceded by the statement, "New on Coffee Shop Radio..."

I found it jarring - one of the things I like about Pandora is NOT having to hear DJs, "You're listening to KWTF!" stingers, and the like. So, if possible, I'd like to disable that, so I'm just hearing the music.

Thanks Adam! Figured it wasn't likely, but couldn't hurt to ask. ๐Ÿ™‚ I'll drop the idea over at Ideas at some point...
