Same song plays after giving it a Thumbs Down

I want Pandora to stop adding Songs to the station. I feel like I thumbs down the same song multiple times.

@thehouseisrockn Thumb ratings are station specific - if you thumb down a track on one station, it won't prevent that same track from playing again on your other stations.

This being said, it sounds like after you Thumb Down a specific track on one station, it ends up playing again after the fact. 

To clarify, is the Thumbs Down icon still highlighted when the track plays again?

I keep a spreadsheet. Its actually become kind of a hobby to me now LOL 

So I can keep track to only like the song on one station & it doesn't repeat

No, it appears to be different album but same song. I canceled my
subscription anyways.

@thehouseisrockn Thumb ratings only apply to the specific song that they are applied to. So if the same song from a different album plays, you would also need to Thumb down that track.

Over time, your station will learn that you do not want to hear that track on that particular station.

If you'd like to see the option to prevent all versions of a song from playing, I recommend creating a feature request for your suggestion here.

I'm sure that is something many other users would be interested in seeing as well.

I have thumbs down songs replaying on the same station, *with* the thumbs down icon still highlighted.

 

EDIT: looks that station may have been set to "Discovery" vs. "My Station" ---- so that may have something to do with it?

@imperative If you give a track a Thumbs Down, that specific track should not play again on that station regardless of what Mode you are using.

The next time this happens, can you please grab a screenshot of the track that plays with the Thumbs Down icon highlighted?
