Thumb ratings are suddenly missing

While listening only to one station, which has thousands of thumbs up and down, I have recently noticed tracks play which I have given a thumbs up in the past but show no thumbs up now.  The songs are all from Pandora's library, I have not uploaded any material.  I also recently paid to upgrade again to Pandora Plus, it had expired for some days.  Not sure if the disappearing started when the paid subscription expired.  

I have read the other posts on disappearing thumbs up and don't believe the feature descriptions about shuffling between stations applies to my use case.

It's possible that a different version of those same tracks played, rather than the versions you gave a Thumbs Up to previously.

That being said, I am happy to help look into this further.

The next time a track plays with the Thumbs Up rating not highlighted (when you know it was given a Thumbs Up to previously), please take a screenshot of what you are seeing and post that picture in a reply to this thread.

I can then pass that information along to our engineering team so they can take a closer look.

I'm certain it's the same version which was previously given a thumbs up.  The track name in my initial post is from the album it originally appeared on and it's the only version I've ever been offered in the feed.  Ditto for the other examples I've seen.  Next example that floats by I'll paste a picture.   It will show the album cover, title, and neither up nor down thumb illuminated.

I also have the issue of thumb ratings and song seeds disappearing.  I had a monster station with more than 40 seeds and over 600 tracks thumbs-upped.  I built it up while I was in college 5-10 years ago, and started listening to Pandora again after getting an Amazon Echo 2 years ago.  I play it probably once a week or so, and have continued to thumbs up tracks when I hear one I like.  I just was listening to it on my phone today and went to go look at my thumbs up list to see if there were any songs on there I'd like to buy, and now there are exactly 100 songs on the thumbs-up list, and some of the seed tracks are missing too, while other seed tracks are in the list twice! Is that even supposed to be possible? I mean, same artist, same album, too.

@Balefire To clarify, is this only an issue that is occurring with one of your stations?

If so, what is the name of that station?

Or do no new thumbs up/down ratings you apply to any of your stations get saved?

Additionally, is this only an issue when streaming through your Amazon Echo device? Or are you able to reproduce this issue when thumbing tracks from your phone, or computer as well?

This doesn’t  seem like an anomaly. I can go through a station and see dozens of songs that I know that I have previously liked that aren’t flagged any more.

I hope you're right that it's just a temporary display bug, cuz I'm having the issue now as well. I noticed a lot of songs that were previously liked were showing as unrated, and looking at my thumbs-up count, it went from about 1800, to under 1200.

I'm 100% sure that I've had this song thumbs-up'ed and listened to it many times. I gave it a thumbs-up again after taking this screenshot. I've had pandora for several years, and I never had this issue before. The only thing I can think of, this issue popped up about the time I got a new phone and put pandora on it. I'm not sure if any Pandora songs on my phone are having this problem, but I'm noticing it when playing pandora on my xbox one and on my pc. It's just some songs here and there that aren't thumbs-up'ed when they definitely should be.

This isn't for all songs, only for some, but it is frustrating nonetheless.

I'll upvote or downvote a song, and within a day or so, that same song will play without the correct thumb rating that I had assigned to it. Meaning there are songs that I have to upvote or downvote again, and sometimes the same song will come up even after I downvote it the second time. Same with tagging a song as "I'm Tired of This Track", the same song will play a day or even a few hours later.

Any suggestions? Maybe a technical issue?

• Device & Generation: (e.g. iPhone X, iPad Air (3rd gen), etc.)
• iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
• Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)

Can you also let me know a little more information about the station(s) this happened with?

• The name of the station where this occurred.
• The name(s) of the artist(s).
• The title(s) of the track(s).
• Were you listening using a Pandora Mode like Crowd Faves, Discovery or Deep Cuts?
