Why is Pandora suddenly blending all of my channels together?

Is this some new method to try to force me to pay the subscription? It's no longer basing each channel off of the genre/artist/algorithms. It's just shoving all my liked songs together.

@Jemuzu I moved your post over to the My Collection space.

I hope this helps!

I agree!  That’s why I wouldn’t dare pay for a Pandora subscription.  It’s just sloppy service and it doesn’t foster confidence in their ability to provide a good selection of music in my preferred genres.

I hear ya, same here.

I don’t want to hear beer-drinking country songs mixed in while I’m doing praise and Worship.
I may have to switch to Spotify.🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi @PandaBoy

Welcome to the Community!

We’re always happy to take a closer look at your stations if you feel they’re playing out-of-place tracks. The more details you share, the better we can investigate.

After reviewing your recent listening history, I noticed that you’ve listened to the genre station Praise and Worship Station Radio on 10/12/2025 for a total of 8 songs:

  • Elevation Worship – "Praise – EP"
  • Phil Wickham – "I Believe"
  • Elevation Worship – "Same God (Radio Version)"
  • Phil Wickham – "Hymn Of Heaven"
  • Chris Tomlin – "Always"
  • Casting Crowns –"Lifesongs: A Celebration of the First 20 Years"
  • KingsPorch – "God is in This House"
  • Benjamin William Hastings – "At the Heart of It (From Worship Together)"

Since then, you’ve listened to two personalized stations:

  • Main Title Radio Station
  • Your Great Name (Acoustic) Radio Station

Looking specifically at Your Great Name (Acoustic) Radio, I see it currently has two seeds:

  1. "Your Great Name (Acoustic)" by Natalie Grant
  2. Thomas Rhett, a country artist

The inclusion of Thomas Rhett is likely why you’re hearing country tracks on this station. To prevent those from playing in the future, you’ll want to remove the Thomas Rhett seed.

Here’s how to do that:

From your iOS device:

  1. Go to My Collection.

  2. Tap the name of the station you’d like to edit.

  3. As a free listener, this will start your station. Tap the “i” (information icon) in the upper right corner to open the station’s backstage page.

  4. Tap the Edit (pencil) icon (to the left of the play button) to edit your station and scroll down.

  5. To remove a variety (or “station seed”), tap the red circle with a dash next to the artist or track name.

  6. When finished, tap Done in the top right corner.

From a web browser:

  1. Visit My Collection.

  2. Click directly on the station name you’d like to edit to open its backstage page.

  3. Under Station Created From, hover over the artist you’d like to remove.

  4. Click the three dots that appear to the right of the artist name, and select Delete from the drop down menu.
