Google Home: Requesting artist station creates artist holiday station instead

Why does my Floyd Cramer station keep playing Christmas music in April? This just started the other day.

Has there been any resolution on this matter? I have an almost identical problem: My Google Nest Hub plays Christmas music when I request certain artists. For instance, I will say, "Hey Google, play Kylie Minogue" and i get a pop Christmas playlist. Similarly if I ask for "Lake Street Dive" or "Celine Dion."

This has been happening on and off for a year but in the last 5 months it has gotten ridiculous. There are now fewer artists I can request without getting Christmas music.

Is there a solution to this? Is this a Pandora or Google problem?

Thank you!

Opened support case for this yesterday, then found this thread started April 2024. 16 months with no resolution? Here's my resolution - switched to Deezer free, problem solved...Thanks Pandora

I have the same issue and have had it for months (actually goes back at least a year, but there was a period of a few months in there where it stopped). But when I check my play lists - not a single holiday or Christmas playlist listed, so I can't even remove anything. I have tried telling it to not play Christmas/holiday music/playlists, that I don't like Christmas/holiday music/songs, etc etc etc. It either says it noted this and then proceeds to play another Christmas song, or it doesn't respond at all. About the only artist I've tried that doesn't give me Christmas music is when I specify to play Dua Lipa. I assume she doesn't have any holiday music. Gonna have to quit Pandora and move solely to spotify.
