Google/Nest Speakers: Cannot play with grouped speakers

I’m a Pandora Plus subscriber, and Pandora cannot play to Google Speaker Groups at all. It will only play to individual Google/Nest speakers.

Spotify does not have this problem because it uses its own playback protocol (Spotify Connect) rather than relying solely on Google Cast. Pandora needs to either fully support Google Speaker Groups or develop a comparable playback protocol.

Steps already tried:

• Updated Pandora app
• Unlinked and relinked Pandora in Google Home
• Restarted devices
• Recreated speaker groups

 None of this resolves the issue.

As a Pandora user, I expect basic whole-home audio functionality. This issue has existed for years, and it’s unacceptable that it still hasn’t been addressed.

When is this actually going to be fixed?

If the answer is never or you're vague about it, I need to cancel my account and get a refund.
