The code you’re referring to is typically used to activate the Pandora app directly on your TV, which it looks like you may have already done previously. Those codes aren’t used to connect your phone to your TV.
If you’re trying to play Pandora from your phone through your Samsung TV, in most cases, it relies on built-in casting feature:
- iPhone: Use AirPlay to stream to your Samsung TV (if supported)
- Android: Use Chromecast / Cast (if your TV supports it or has a Chromecast device)
A couple of quick things to check:
- Make sure your phone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network
- Confirm your TV supports AirPlay or Chromecast, depending on your device
- Look for the cast or AirPlay icon from the Now Playing screen on Pandora.
Below is an example of the AirPlay icon available on an iPhone. The casting icon for Android would be similar in the same place.
