Hi @Tamilynn425! Thanks for posting.

To help investigate, can you tell me a bit more about your devices?

  • Make and model of the headphones?
  • Make and model of the device this is happening on?
  • Are you connected via Bluetooth or AUX?
  • Does this happen with another streaming service?

Thanks for the help.

The headphones came with my iPhone 10. When I use YouTube they work fine.

Thanks for following up @Tamilynn425

I'm not sure why this would happen with wired headphones.

To determine if this is is happening on the headphones or the phone, can you try another set of headphones with your phone?

@Tamilynn425

I would like to report this to our engineers. Could you tell me more about your device?

  • Device & Generation: (e.g. iPhone 5c, iPod 6th gen, iPad Air2, etc.)
  • Carrier:
  • iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
  • Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)

Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?

Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?

Thanks!

It’s the iPhone XS. It happens when I’m on WiFi or cellular data.

It's usually a problem with the chord. If you have been using the headphones for some time, there can be some issues with the connection. The chord usually brakes somewhere near the AUX jack.
Some people throw the headphones away in this case, but others simply repair the chord – it's not that difficult and can be done in a couple of minutes. So, it's for you to decide what to do.
To prevent such cases, choose headphones with better chord protection like turtle beach elite 800 wireless. You might even go to a shop to choose a pair you like more and not order them online.
