Pandora API Developer Account

In looking at the Developer API link, it seems that you are not accepting new requests for accounts.  Is there any other way to get started with this effort besides having a Pandora Developer account?  

I am the author of 2 different media player integrations for Home Assistant, and would like to take a crack at adding a Pandora media player integration.  There seems to be quite a bit of interest in a Pandora service for Home Assistant, so I thought I would pursue it.

I currently offer Pandora access through my Bose SoundTouch media player integration, but  it's severely limited to the underlying Bose application (basic player functions, "My Stations" retrieval, etc).  

I am well versed in API's, OAuth authentication, etc, as that is what my Bose SoundTouch and Spotify media players currently provide for Home Assistant.  The Pandora API GraphQL language seems pretty straightforward, and I would be writing a wrapper API for it in Python.

Also, I have found references on the web about a JSON 5 / REST Pandora API; is that still in use / supported?

Have you ever heard anything back on this?

I been waiting for API access to open for over a year now.....

I want to develop a Home Assistant app so I don't have to switch to Spotify.

Hello I know pandora community has no request on this... but I have been waiting over a year for this API access applications to open.

I would like to create some apps to stream music specifically for Home Assistant. It looks like itll be pretty easy to create for myself, and I can share it with the community.
