Xbox player doesn’t highlight current selection

On my Xbox the current selection (song, button, menu) does not highlight. As a consequence one has to guess (count stick moves in the controller) which one is selected and then enter, in the hope that it is the right one. This is extremely annoying. The app is very useable.

That does seem super annoying @ParrotLove.

Can you do me a favor and take a picture of this on your TV to share. 

Also, have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling yet? If not, would you mind giving that a go. 

Note: you'll need to be signed into your Xbox Live account. 

  1. Go to My games & apps from the home screen and highlight Pandora from the list of apps.
  2. Press the menu button on your controller.
  3. Select Uninstall.
  4. Choose Uninstall all to confirm that you want to uninstall the app.

Then, reinstall the app:

  1. From Xbox's Home, go to Store and either select Browse apps > Popular music apps or search for Pandora to download the app.
  2. When the download is complete, you can find Pandora again in the My games & apps section.

I uninstalled it and installed  Now, Pandora show a screen with the name and then goes black

When it turns black, does it continue to play or does it appear to crash?

Could you tell me what OS version your Xbox One is on? (To find that, go to Settings > System Console info.)

Also, what version of the Pandora app are you on? (You can find that in the Pandora app in Settings, underneath Terms of Use.)

I'm having this same problem...

Also, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but the same problem persists.

Just wanted to confirm that the screen goes black for you too or Pandora doesn't highlight the current selection?

In the meantime, could you tell me what OS version your Xbox One is on?

  • (To find that, go to Settings > System Console info.)

Also, what version of the Pandora app are you on?

  • (You can find that in the Pandora app in Settings, underneath Terms of Use.)
