Excatly! I find it extremely inappropriate and offensive. This ad full of misled profiling. How about we mention all the criminals that are white and citizens . Or all the corporate criminals who use other countries and their aliases ... The list can go on and on. In short, this ad should be removed from Pandora if they consider themselves to be neutral.

Who's running this show, indeed! Good question. Who made this decision to run ICE ads?????

Are you being pressured? Perhaps the mob bosses have gotten to you. If so, I'm truly sorry for the position you're in. But we're all faced with having to make hard decisions these days. Where will we draw the line? How will we be courageous? I'm an older person, I've lived through a lot, and I know in my heart and soul that this is the moment to do the right thing. 

Remove the ICE ads. Get into Right Relationship with the world. 

Pandora, you have lost me over this disastrous move to take advertising money from a government bent on destroying our freedoms. 

I'm cancelling my subscription tonight. Maybe I'll come back if and when things turn around.

I am trying to delete my account due to Pandora running ICE ads. I've cancelled my subscription and go to delete the account. It says it will send me an email from a "listener advocate" but the only email I receive tells me first I need to cancel my sub.

I've already cancelled it. I just want this account to be gone.

I have already cancelled Pandora+ and am now canceling my free account that I have enjoyed since about 2007 or so. It has been my companion for almost 20 years and I will miss it, but I will not be a listener while ICE advertisements continue.

Bye Bye, Pandora...I Won't Support Cruelty

I'm sure you'll respond with some lawyer-approved pablum about the government's ICE ads you've been running not violating your ToS, but even though my family subscription fully prevents me from hearing those nakedly militaristic ads, I'm officially suspending my 20-year relationship with Pandora. I'm really unhappy to have to do this because I genuinely LOVE Pandora.  But I refuse to support your bottom line any further, until you publicly announce that you'll stop shilling for a 'law enforcement' agency that, on a daily basis, violates the basic rights of American citizens and non-citizens alike, and treats unarmed civilians with the kind of brutality and violence that isn't even permissible in a full-scale war. 

Please do better, and take a PUBLIC stand for something far more important than your revenue.  Stand on the side of righteousness, not on the side of a federal police force turned against its own people.

Now, it's not as easy as everyone focusing their anger on Disney to get Jimmy Kimmel back, but it *can* be done!  The only language businesses understand is MONEY, so if enough people are willing to put up with a little inconvenience, the C-suite jack offs who green lighted this ad campaign to go through just might feel enough economic pain to stop their support of this administration's hate campaign. 

I've already cancelled my premium subscription, but I'm still listening...I mean, why not listen for FREE, mute the commercials, and cost Pandora money?!

Better yet...try one of their competitors who isn't running ICE ads, such as audiomack.com !

Maybe not *yet*, but if enough of us do the same, they'll see that their ICE ads are costing them more money than they're earning them.  THAT is the only force that moves business to change.

Yes, it's already been confirmed by media outlets such as Rolling Stone and Huff Po...Pandora *IS* running ICE ads.  And I don't care that my premium subscription was insulating me from hearing them, I reluctantly, but proudly, cancelled it. Pandora does NOT deserve a single penny from any of us for allowing this administration's campaign of racist hatred to advertise on their platform.

Congrats on cancelling!!  I too was sooo crushed to learn of Pandora's role in this...I've been a Pandora user for over 20 years, premium customer for about 10, and I really love their service.  But supporting a campaign of hatred and racist violence is more than anyone should have to put up with.

The article also mentioned another streaming service called that, apparently, has agreed not to run ICE ads, so that's one option.  It may not have nearly the musical catalogue that Spotify or Pandora have, but I don't care...I still have my collection of over 400 CDs and terabytes of mp3s to fall back on 🙂

Agreed.  I've been listening for at least 17 or more years, and only pay for the ad free version.  But just knowing they even allowed these ads to run makes me sick.  It's becoming harder to find a service that doesn't support this horrible regime.  If you know of one that isn't god awful expensive, I'd love to know what it is.

17+ year subscriber here writing to protest ICE ads on this platform. I don't know if anyone is listening, but you should know that as of October, Spotify is being targeted for a boycott over these ads. What an opportunity to both do the right thing for human rights and capture permanent share off your competitors by publicly cancelling ICE ads. Otherwise, you can watch my monthly fee go bye bye along with thousands of others over these nasty, racist ICE ads. It doesn't matter that I can't hear the ads. It is about supporting cruelty with dollars.

ICE Recruitment ads!!!

I was just informed that Sirius was running ads for this group of fascist criminals (ICE).  The internet confirmed this.  While reading more on the subject, it was brought to my attention that YOU, Pandora, (as well as other streaming services) are also running these ads!!!

I cannot tolerate anyone or any group who supports this criminal fascist activity!  What is wrong with you people!?!?!?

Are you seeing ICE recruitment ads? I pay for premium but will cancel if they do.

A lot of people have cancelled their Spotify accounts bc our f-ed up government is advertising ICE recruitment ads on it. Then I just read that Pandora is as well but I have a paid subscription so I don’t see them. Are people seeing them on the free version? I’ll be cancelling if that’s the case. Thanks. 

I’m cancelling my Pandora subscription for this reason—I’m also a single, white female and hate that they’re committing domestic terrorism. 

People from music platforms with paid ICE ads including Spotify and Pandora are moving to Qobuz. I don’t know much about it other than the boards I looked at said they don’t accept ICE ads. 

Cancelling my Pandora subscription as they’re promoting ICE jobs—we all should! Companies don’t listen until it hits their earnings. 

Cancel! Pandora will stop taking DHS’s money when their quarterly earnings reports bottom, like Disney’s did when they pulled Kimmel. 

Me too! I have been loyal to Pandora for well over a decade but they know exactly what they’re doing by accepting money from DHS and it’s more than evident when they review the creative upon receipt before it’s added to their advertising rotation. No mistakes.

There’s another app called Qubuz that apparently users of the apps you’ve mentioned are joining (I have no affiliation and am in the same boat as you—don’t even get the ads on Pandora). They’re supporting domestic terrorism and I won’t give them my money. CANCELLING MY SUBSCRIPTION NOW!

The ICE ads (ads to try and recruit you to be an ICE agent) are not only ridiculous but offensive and you should at the very least give us a way to let you know you have received the wrong person. I would never join this facist regime and your demographics are way off if you think I would. It was enough to get me to move over to Amazon Music, which is saying a lot.

Very disappointed that Pandora is allowing the ICE ads to be played, will be getting rid of my account asap and the company should be ashamed of itself for giving in to the horrors that this President is inflicting on the country and its citizens. I hope your money form the advertising was worth it.

I have been a Pandora user since 2005, and was considering canceling my Spotify account and switching to a Pandora subscription because of algorithm issues (Spotify plays the same music over and over). After hearing an ICE ad yesterday, that won’t be happening, and I likely won’t use Pandora at all anymore. It’s just gross, and I expected better.
