Am I about to be double-billed?

I just received an email saying I'm about to be auto-charged for a year subscription at $54.89 (plus tax), but I already pay $3.99/month through Apple subscriptions. 

I already pay monthly and it totals only $47.88 for the whole year, so why would I want to pay MORE, *and* it seems like they're trying to charge me for the year in addition to what I'm already paying?
