I am billed through apple and I canceled by subscription through iTunes and iTunes says my subscription has expired on Nov 1 2022 but it’s Nov 2 2022 and it says my subscription is still active in the pandora app. I have already called apple support and they suggested I come here. Any thoughts?

The best thing to do would be to revisit your Apple subscription page to check. You can view Apple's see or cancel your subscription steps for more info.
This being said, it sounds like you've already contacted the Apple Support Team directly to confirm your subscription through their service was canceled.
Although it isn't immediate, your account will revert back to the free service shortly after the cancelation is processed.

I have cancelled my Pandora Plus subscription on Itunes and waited for the subscription to expire. I want to upgrade to the family account but the Pandora upgrade page still states that I have a Plus subscription through apple. I have confirmed that it is expired through itunes? What is the solution to upgrade through Pandoras website?

This being said, it looks like you have already confirmed that your cancelation was made through Apple.
Give it a little time as the cancelation is not immediate, and when you start hearing ads on your account again, you can resubscribe to the Premium Family plan here.
