Incorrect username/password when signing in through Family Plan invite

I am having the same problem as kstilson4304. My wife receives the invite but it tells her to login. She logs in and a message appears that says it's an incorrect username/password.

@Moorefield Sorry for the trouble.

It doesn't look like a Pandora account has been created yet with the email address you sent the invitation to.

You will first need to create a new account for your wife using that email address. Once it is created, she can then join the Family plan through the link that was sent.

In the meantime, I have created a ticket with our support team for you.

They will be contacting you privately via email to help look into this further, so please keep an eye out for their message.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not exactly sure where to set up that account for my wife.The pandora site is not very user friendly.

@Moorefield You can create her account from either a computer or mobile device.

In order to create an account from a computer:

1. Go to pandora.com.
2. Click Sign Up in the upper right corner.
3. Enter the required registration information (be sure to enter her birth year and not her entire birth date).
4. Review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
5. Click Sign Up.

In order to create an account from a mobile device:

After installing and launching the Pandora app on her mobile device, select Sign Up. Then fill out the following registration information:

1. Enter the email address she would like to use.
2. Enter a password.
3. Tap Continue to move to the next screen.
4. Enter the required registration information. If using an Android device enter birth year only, (e.g., "1975")
5. Review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
6. Tap Finish to complete.
