T-Mobile Ad-free Radio Weekends - "This offer currently isn't available" error

ColonelPanic
Underground

I have T-Mobile Tuesdays installed and logged in with my T-Mobile Home Internet 10-digit phone number. When I try to redeem the recent Pandora Ad-Free Radio Weekends offer (appeared 3-16-21) through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app - which in turn launches my logged-in instance of the Pandora app, I get one or more of the following errors in the Pandora app:

1) "We can't find this page right now. Please try searching for something else."

2) "This offer currently isn't available"

I see that others on an unofficial T-Mobile Home Internet Facebook Group page have successfully redeemed the offer. I have attempted to redeem it on two separate Android phones to no avail.

Anyone's assistance or suggestions for a fix would be most welcome. Thanks!

@ColonelPanic Thank you for reporting this.

Our engineers are aware of this issue and are currently working on it.

Please keep an eye out for any app updates, as that is how the fix will be released. 🛠

Here's how to update the Pandora app on your Android device:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Touch the menu icon in the upper left and select My apps & games.
  3. Apps with available updates are labeled Update.
  4. Choose any appropriate apps and tap Update.

Tip: In some cases, you may need to restart your device to update an app.

Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

Thank you - will do!!

I’m having a similar problem on iOS —apps are updated.

The message I’m getting is “Sorry, this offer is only available to T-Mobile users.”

I’ve got an iPhone XS with dual SIM and I’ve also tried disabling my WiFi and Verizon line and trying to redeem, but no luck.

Valor, I tried again today on Android - same error in the app as you got:

“Sorry, this offer is only available to T-Mobile users.”

I am awaiting the Pandora app to update - last update was 3/25/21. Apparently Pandora engineers are working on it - as they mentioned in their reply to my original post. So I'm routinely checking for updates to the Pandora app to see if that addresses the issue.

@valor I’ve gone ahead and enabled a trace on your account.

Would you mind running through the redemption once more?

If you continue seeing that error, please provide a screenshot.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you!

Just tried, same error. How should I get you the screenshot?

Steps:

1. Open Pandora

2. Open Tuesdays app

3. Redeem

4. Error “Sorry, this offer is only for T-Mobile users”

Next, I uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, reinstalled app, repeated 1-4 above. Same error.

Here is my screenshot from today April 14th 2021. I am on Android, and the app version is 2102.1.1 where it has been since 3-25-21.

@forkies Thanks for following up.

I’d like to gather more information regarding the issue you’re experiencing.

Please confirm which mobile carrier you’re currently subscribed to (ex. T-Mobile, Sprint, Metro).

Also, are you using an unlocked device when attempting to redeem the offer?

Or was the device you’re experiencing this issue on purchased or brought over from a different mobile carrier (ex. Verizon, AT&T)?

I appreciate your help.

Screenshot (just tried again, 12:34pm, US/Central time).

This time, I tried removing the Verizon SIM (while the phone was turned off) and redeeming -- Maybe it's an issue with the app recognizing the ESIM and carrier?

iPhone XS, T-Mobile on ESIM, and technically Red Pocket in the SIM slot, but it registers as Verizon.

Phone is definitely unlocked. I've Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all on this phone. Previously, I successfully redeemed the T-Mobile Tuesday offer for "Plus." I don't remember if that was with a T-Mobile SIM or not.

Happy to assist in any other way I can. Thanks for the assistance!

Edit: Phone was not purchased from T-Mobile. App version is 2103.1, iOS version is 14.4.2

Definitely unlocked -- used AT&T, Verizon T-Mobile, Red Pocket/Verizon SIMs with no problems.

I've been T-Mobile for years.

Thought I'd chime in with my info:

Phone carrier: Mint Mobile (T-Mobile MVNO)

Home ISP: T-Mobile Home Internet (LTE-based)

Phone: OnePlus 6, no carrier branding - unlocked, Android 10, all up-to-date

Pandora version 2102.1.1 for Android since 3-25-21

Error message within Pandora app: "We can't find this page right now. Please try searching for something else".

@ColonelPanic Thank you for clarifying your mobile carrier is Mint Mobile.

This offer is only available to T-Mobile, Sprint, and Metro customers. Other carriers are not eligible for the offer at this time.

I’ve made a note of your feedback.

Hope this helps explain.
