We’ve refreshed the Pandora Community site to make it easier to connect, browse, and discover. ✨ Check out what's new here.
When I open up Pandora, the familiar blue screen and album covers and playback controls are there. However, when I connect via Bluetooth to my car audio, the Pandora screen goes black with two words indicating it’s trying to connect to my car audio. It does connect to the audio and sounds fine, but the familiar Pandora screen is no longer on the iPhone. It’s just black with the word “Pandora” and the word “connecting” with two arrows in between them. I no longer have any options on that screen. Everything has to be done through the car audio.
That just started happening today and I have not done anything to change any of my settings.
Anybody ever seen that before?
Thanks for explaining @Holtwebb .
Can you please try to uninstall, then reinstall the app: Hold down the Pandora icon on the home screen until all the icons start shaking. Then tap the tiny "x" that appears in the upper left of the Pandora icon, and confirm that you want to delete the app. Then re-install Pandora via the App Store on the device.
If you continue to have trouble after that, I would like to report this issue to our engineers. Could you tell me more about your device?
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?
Let me know!
Additional notes… I have restarted the phone and restarted the car audio with no success.

I am having the same problem. I uninstalled Pandora and then re-installed as suggested. I'm still having the black screen with the words Pandora and Kenwood with 2 arrows. I can't do anything to pandora once that screen is up.
Thanks @SoullessRed , can you tell me more about this?
Can you tell me the make and model of your Kenwood stereo? I will also need the make and model opf your phone.
Are you connected through Android Auto? Or are you using a native app on the stereo?
Let me know!
