Trouble with Music Playing

Listener001
Not applicable

I have same problem and it developed with the Pandora App for iPhone over the past 10 days.  Reinstalling the app does not alter this annoying behavior.  I will give it another few days and cancel my Pandora subscription if the problem continues.   It’s fine to hear someone at Pandora say “I’m sorry”, but I pay monthly for a music streaming service, not for apologies.

Hey there, @Listener001. 👋

I moved your post over to the iOS section as it sounds like you're having trouble with your iPhone device. We did experience an outage yesterday. However that issue has now been resolved. You can find out more information about that outage in this thread: Pandora outage - 08/16/20

++

Based on your post, you've been experiencing this for about 10 days and have run through the troubleshooting steps here.

Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening and about your iPhone?

  • Device & Generation: (e.g. iPhone 5c, iPod 6th gen, iPad Air2, etc.)
  • Carrier:
  • iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
  • Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)
  • Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
  • Are you noticing any error messages? If so, what exactly does it say?

Let me know, and I can report this information to our engineering team on your behalf. 📲
