@SoulPhyreII Thanks for sharing those details. Looks like you're on an older version of the app.

Could you try updating to the newest version of the Pandora app (1910.2)?

To update the Pandora app on your iOS device on iOS 13 or newer:

  • Open the App Store application.
  • Tap your Apple ID icon in the top right corner.
  • Scroll down to the Pandora app. If an update is available, there will be an Update icon.

I hope this helps with the issue you're experiencing.

Feel free to let me know how it goes.

@SoulPhyreII Let's go ahead and try some troubleshooting to see if we can fix that.

Please try the following steps from your iPhone:

  • Go to your iPhone Settings.
  • Tap on Cellular, then toggle Cellular Data off and back on.
  • Finally, ensure the Pandora app is toggled on under Use Cellular Data For.

Hope this helps!

Yeah I tried that also... didn't work.  I hate that I can't play Pandora in my car now. 😢

Hi, @Stevel. 👋

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with this.

Please try out the steps from my message here.

If you still have trouble after toggling the cellular data, let's try the standard steps for your iPhone.

First, I recommend rebooting the device by shutting it down entirely, then turning it back on and trying Pandora again.

If you're still having issues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (not to worry, we'll keep track of your profile and collection for you).* To do that:

  1. Hold down the Pandora icon on your Home screen until all the icons start "shaking."
  2. Then tap the tiny "x" that appears in the upper left of the Pandora icon, and confirm that you want to delete the app.
  3. Then re-install Pandora via the App Store on your device.

*Please note: Pandora Premium and Premium Family listeners may need to re-download some of their offline content after reinstalling the app. Pandora Plus users, however, should receive that offline content again automatically. If you have any trouble with your offline stations after reinstalling, please let us know.

Let me know how it goes. 🎧

I’m having the same problem. I have an 2020 IPhone SE with the latest iOS update. I’ve checked all of the cellular data as described in this thread. I deleted and reloaded the pandora app yesterday. I still can’t use the app with cellular data.

Same trouble here. It had happened many times to me (not playing or loading while in cellular data). I have uninstalled/installed it several times, I have plenty of data, reboot the phone but none solved it, I have the latest OS(V14.6).  The "funniest" is that as soon I get connected to the wifi the song start playing.  Very sad that these types of bugs are still in the app.
