I cannot get the “player” off my Lock Screen. Everyone says just go into settings….not seeing anything to turn it off?! Kinda frustrating!
help??
Mod's edit: Changed title for Clarity.
@Paulmcmaster I'm not Pandora tech support, but I have been in a few binds myself using the Pandora app. So, try some of these steps that might help ease your frustration.
Here are the most effective workarounds:
After pausing the music, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold to open the app switcher.
Swipe up on Pandora to fully close it.
This usually removes the lock screen player immediately.
A quick restart can clear lingering widgets that don’t disappear on their own.
Go to Settings > Notifications > Pandora and toggle off “Allow Notifications.”
This won’t remove the player, but can reduce other lock screen clutter.
If the issue happens with CarPlay or Bluetooth devices, go to Settings > Bluetooth, tap the “i” next to the device, and choose Forget This Device. Then reconnect.
Open Pandora > Tap Profile > Settings (gear icon) > Advanced.
Uncheck Launch from Car under Bluetooth settings.
Hope this helps. Have a blessed day. Take care and GOD bless.
