From the chain of comments it looks like this has been going on for 2-3 months. What is the line of site to the solution?  How does this item get prioritized as more urgent? Any solution this this issue. My wife and I are both having the same problem. Plays songs fine until and ad. After ad the music appears to be muted. Happens with all ads from iOS devices.
