Same issue with Kenwood DNX693s. BT works fine directly but not through the Kenwood's app. I have gone through my phone and opened all the possible permissions as well. The BT settings when trying to connect through the Kenwood app do not let me turn on "use for audio" but when through BT directly it is available.
