The Kenwood app is finally working again! My Kenwood head unit is from 2016. I have the latest version of Pandora on my Andriod.. I turned on NFC and allowed all basic permissions except location and contacts. In Pandora "advanced setting"... Higher quality Audio is ON Auto Lock is OFF Enable Messages OFF Launch from Car ON Waze OFF In Android... Allow all permissions. Nearby devices is critical Pause app if unused OFF You may need to delete BT device on phone and head unit and re-pair

I came to Pandora because Spotify dropped support for Pioneer and Kenwood apps in an effort to push their "car thing". Where Pandora seems to have abandoned support for the head unit app, I am heading back to Spotify as I feel the platform is better. I will continue to check on Pandora with the hope they may someday rectify the issue.
