Model: Samsung Fold 4 Carrier: AT&T Android version: 12 Pandora version: 2210.2 It happens regardless of Wi-fi connectivity. It started once I downloaded Pandora onto the Fold 4. I believe a permission prompt popped up asking (paraphrasing) "do want to restart the app when opening the app..." In my haste I belive I accepted whatever permission this granted and the problem began. I have been a user for a very long time, this had never happened prior. Thanks for your help with this! Ken

Thanks for the reply. This has nothing to do with my situation, however. The app runs in the background and is set to never sleep. The issue is; the app restarts during a session if I open the app (while running, regardless if screen timed out) to view the current song, etc. The app restarts the session and song history is lost for the session. Yes. I'll have pandora running either in my vehicle or on my home stereo. If I tap the app to review details of the music once away from the app, the program restarts. Whatever station I was listening to restarts and the song that was playing is no longer running. The history details of previous songs played is reset and the session is lost. I have the Samsung fold 4, Pandora version 2210.2 it seemed to have start when I I downloaded the app on this phone. I seem to recall a permission request upon download, asking for the capability to restart sessions. It is real aggravating when sessions are lost this way. Ken

Application permission to restart each time the app is opened.
The Application will be running. I'll tap the player to view song details and the app restarts. How do I turn this absolutely stupid feature off?
